Strawberry Syrup

Because of our gluten free, low carb lifestyle I am always on the search for new recipes that aren't too sugary or carby.  I invented this strawberry syrup for some waffles we made the other day. 


INGREDIENTS:
a handful of fresh or frozen strawberries
and honey

INSTRUCTIONS: 
blend the strawberries and one tablespoon of honey on high in your blender.
If you are using frozen strawberries you must defrost them first. 
Use the honey according to your taste or add stevia for a SUPER LOW CARB syrup. 

It looks and tastes WONDERFUL,
and it is good for you.




You could do this with any fruit, try it and let me know how it turns out.  I am going to try peaches next!
